Prinoth is well known for its crawler carriers but also manufactures a wide range of mulching equipment. Through its Vegetation Management Division, and as a cutting-edge company, where the latest developments and innovations in agriculture and forest management are the top priority, Prinoth continuously invests in developing high-quality products including the introduction of its newest mulching head model, the M450s.

Developed for a range of carrier vehicles from 80-150 HP and a volume flow between 26.4-52.8 gpm (100-200 l/min), the M450s is a compact and powerful head for a diversity of mulching applications. With the feature “Plug and Mulch”, the M450s is ready for simple implementing on any skid steer loader make and model. Hydraulic hoses with standard fittings are included in the package and already delivered from the factory. The M450s gets its enormous power from a 107 cc Rexroth hydraulic motor with high-pressure variable displacement. A new-cogged belt drive transfers it to the rotor.

Bite Control System
The rotor combines the BCS (Bite Control System) with two types of cutting tools. Whether steel knives- or carbide teeth, the BCS-Rotor is best balanced for less wear on bearings and high speed, meaning high productivity and perfect finishing. With the well-tried BCS-Rotor System and its cutting tools, the operator will not only get a professional working result but also pleasurable working experience.

Furthermore, it guarantees perfect visibility to the ground for a good and safe line of sight to the working area and the machine. The point of gravity is close to the carrier, therefore, it is easier to handle and provides less tipping or rollover danger. For maximum safety, the M450s is equipped with anti-slippery stripes on the top of the housing and with two steps for safe access to the carrier.

Prinoth achieved an entirely new development, which enlarges its mulcher range for skid steer loaders and hydraulic driven carriers. The new M450s was first launched in North America at TCI Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina. The product launch in Europe took place early this year.

Formerly known as AHWI, Prinoth Vegetation Management is located in Herdwangen, Germany and constitutes the third and latest addition of Prinoth, which also manufactures snow groomers and tracked vehicles. With its robust mulching tracked carrier vehicles ranging from 200 to 640 HP and its high-performance mulching solutions, Prinoth Vegetation Management provides sustainable solutions for clearing and re-cultivating forest areas, clearing streets for power lines, and transforming unused scrubland into areas that can be used for agriculture or forest management. Machinery and mulchers are developed and produced at the Herdwangen site, which employs over 100 people. Prinoth is part of the HTI Group (High Technology Industries) with over 3,500 employees across the globe.
