The Terminator xtron’s special shredding unit offers a wide range of applications for mixed waste, waste wood and green waste. A powerful hydraulic drive, simple operating functions and a spacious shredding chamber ensure efficiency and flexibility.

The Terminator xtron has a specially developed V-shredding unit that is characterized by its particular versatility and is suitable for all types of waste as well as wood and green waste. An infinitely variable cutting gap adjustment as well as optional comb elements enable the grain size produced to be customized for further use. The optimised hydraulic drive of the Terminator xtron delivers 40% more roller torque, enabling even the most difficult materials to be shredded highly efficiently. The options of hook lift platform, three-axle chassis or crawler chassis guarantee mobility as required. The Terminator xtron is also available as an e-mobile version with the track, trailer and hook chassis options. The name is made up of x (crossfunctional) and tron (strong).

Shredding unit
The Terminator xtron exclusively utilizes the extremely versatile V-shredding unit. The shredding roller of the V-unit has 16 aggressively shaped roller teeth. They are approx. 40% higher than those of the familiar F shredding unit. This results in an outside diameter of an enormous 1170 mm, which guarantees optimum feed even with materials that are difficult to grasp and at the same time prevents wrapping of the roller. On the counter comb of the V-unit there are 17 counter comb teeth, which massively support the shredding effect thanks to their stepped arrangement.

Adjustable material quality
Thanks to the hydraulically adjustable cutting gap between the counter comb and roller, the degree of shredding can be precisely adjusted to the subsequent process steps. This cutting gap does not change during the shredding process, even with the most difficult materials, thus ensuring homogeneous and consistent material quality.
A comb system (I) is also available as an option. 17 individually insertable comb elements ensure a post-shredding effect, whereby an even finer material grain size can be achieved.

Powerful drive
The Terminator xtron is equipped with a powerful CAT® C13b engine with the latest emissions standard. With 460 hp (340 kW), there is plenty of power available to achieve high throughput rates across a wide range of applications. The standard double-sided roller drive provides the necessary torque for materials that are difficult to shred. The load-dependent speed control automatically adjusts the roller speed and shredding force to the material to be shredded. The simple roller reversibility prevents jamming and ensures a self-cleaning effect.

Simple feeding
When it comes to material feeding, the Terminator is far superior to comparable products from the competition thanks to its large hydraulically folding hopper. The hinged hopper always enables optimum adaptation to the respective loading device. When using a wheel loader, the side wall can be aligned horizontally to keep the loading edge as low as possible. The large shredding area (3m x 2m) with a loading width of almost 3.3m means that even large wheel loaders can be loaded without any problems.
