CIFA’s solutions for underground work is further extended with the Dingo machines

The range of machines for underground work is further extended with a spritz dedicated to mining and small tunnels: the Dingo! Like the Australian dingo (a wild dog) CIFA’s Dingo is a compact, powerful and intelligent machine.

The Dingo is powered by a 4-cylinder Deutz 96 kW turbocharged engine with Stage IIIA emissions, a choice that outlines its high standing in performance: thanks to the turbocharger and electronic management, the available power does not derate up to over 2000 meters altitude and the power reserve allows you to work easily even well beyond these heights. The PAS 306 pumping unit in the Dingo is powered by the internal combustion engine and is capable of output up to 30 cubic meters per hour at a maximum pressure of 60 bar with 176 mm diameter and 660 mm stroke barrels.

The additive dosing unit is the proven Uniflux H1 which allows the additive to be dosed precisely by means of the peristaltic pump. The boom is completely new and features a vertical turret mounted on a vertical axis rotating plate and a telescopic boom that extends to a length of 2.4 meters. The maximum tunnel radius reachable by the projected concrete is 7 meters and it is possible to work below ground level up to a maximum depth of 2 meters.

The chassis plays a fundamental role in giving this machine the compactness that will allow it to move with agility in narrow tunnels. It has an open transverse ROPS/ FOPS driver’s seat, a wheelbase of only 2.2 meters and a height of 2.5 meters. Useful and characteristic is the possibility of driving while keeping the distribution boom within the machine shape by rotating it on the right side.

The four-wheel drive and steering allow moving easily without the need for maneuvering to reverse the traveling direction and a minimum turning radius of just 1.9 meters. From the point of view of standard configuration, nothing has been left to chance by arranging all the components in such a way that they are both accessible and protected from the harsh working conditions of underground jobsites. Like the flesh-and-bone Dingo, the CIFA Dingo is perfectly at home on off-road surfaces and steep slopes. The standard equipment includes everything you need to work: from four high-efficiency LED work lights to tanks: 150-liter diesel, 600-liter additives, and even a 90-liter water tank.
