Menzi Muck @ Bauma 2016

At this year’s Bauma, Menzi Muck has celebrated the 50th anniversary of the invention of the eponymous excavator Menzi Muck. In a spectacular show Menzi Muck showed the possibilities of the current showpiece, the M545.

As big news at this year’s Bauma, Menzi Muck presented the newly developed M220. The youngest and lightest child of the Menzi Muck Family has a weight of 7 tons. It can be divided into eight parts, flown by helicopter to its location of work and assembled again.
Various applications of the Menzi Muck were showed on different machines on the generously spaced stand. On a M525 a large drill unit was installed, an M545 was equipped as a road-rail machine; it can move and work on the track or derail and re-rail even between stations. An M515 Master was equipped with a special arm with 12m reach and processor head for the forest industry. Another M515 Master was equipped with a forestry mulcher. And an M545 machine has been housed in a shipping container, showing how the machine can be transported for long distances. To round off even the self-produced dumper RD45 was displayed.
