Innovative truck mixer as a semitrailer from Liebherr

Liebherr now has the HTM 1205 T / LTB 12+4 truck mixer as a semitrailer with innovative innovations in its range. Not only the new flexibility provided by the semitrailer concept but also the optionally available telescopic conveyor belt bring flexibility and time savings to the construction site. Even on a narrow ground, maneuvering is no problem thanks to the rear steering axle.

The new truck mixer HTM 1205 / LTB 12+4 combines flexible application possibilities with a high payload. The newly engineered 12m³ mixing drum has been designed for optimum distribution of the axle loads and thus the optimum economy.

Telescopic conveyor belt now also for semitrailers
Liebherr’s telescopic conveyor belt has been very successfully established on the market for 15 years. Up to now, the conveyor belt variant was only available for fixed-mounted truck mixers – from now on, the conveyor belt is also available in conjunction with a semitrailer and a large 12m³ drum. In addition to concrete, other materials such as sand, gravel, grit, screed and much more can be distributed directly on the construction site. This service is highly appreciated by the end customer because the material arrives immediately at the right place without a crane or wheel loader, which saves time and money.

Maximum flexibility thanks to the semitrailer
The main advantage of the semitrailer lies in the flexibility it offers the operator: The semitrailer supplements the vehicle fleet at peak order times and scores highly with its high payload; at low order levels, the tractor can take on other tasks, e.g. driving a cement silo semitrailer or a bulk material tipper. If the maximum payload is required, the conveyor belt can also be uncoupled and parked in just a few minutes thanks to the changing system.

Maximum maneuverability
On the HTM 1205 T / LTB 12+4 semitrailer tractor, the last axle is designed as an electronically controlled steering axle, ensuring optimum maneuverability both on the road and on the construction site. Due to its narrow turning circle and ideal handling, even construction sites in narrow city centers can be accessed. Reversing on site or at the mixing plant is also very easy, as the steering axle can also be controlled manually via remote control in the driver’s cabin instead of an automatic mode. The new variant as a semitrailer with conveyor belt is the perfect addition to the fleet of ready-mixed concrete plants.
