Company JG-MAX Bt. appointed as John Deere Forestry distributor in Hungary

John Deere strengthens customer service in Europe by appointing a new local distributor in Hungary. Hungarian customers were previously served by John Deere Forestry Austrian distributor ÖFORST GmbH & Timbertrans Kft.

John Deere Forestry continuously strengthens its world-class customer service and sales distribution through a professional and customer-oriented dealer network. A dealer network, which in close cooperation with John Deere promotes a predominant position for John Deere products in the market.

John Deere Forestry is pleased to welcome JG-Max Bt. as an authorized sales and service partner in Hungary. A family company JG-Max, established in 2004, is a recognized distributor with 20 years of experience in servicing customers in forestry and wood processing equipment in Hungary. JG Max represents trademarks, such as POSCH firewood production machines, MUS-MAX chippers, MAXWALD forestry winches, SCHLIESING chippers, INCOMAC drying chambers and heat treaters, HERDER log mills and CAPE pallet production machine lines.

The company JG-Max is located in Baja, 200 km south from Budapest. The company has recently invested in a new facility and is well equipped to serve John Deere Forestry customers. JG-Max has seven employees, three of whom are service technicians with one service van and two spare parts delivery vehicles. The company has an excellent reputation for high-quality customer service and technical support for customers in heavy machinery.

JG-Max also continues to work collaboratively with Timbertrans Kft. a local service provider for ÖFORST GmbH. “Forests in Hungary comprise 15% of softwood and 85% of hardwood. The John Deere line up of two feed roller harvesting heads is a highly anticipated selection for Hungarian forestry customers”, explains Alexander Erbe, Territory Sales Manager, John Deere Forestry.

Our customers have similarities with forest machine customers and proximity to customers is important for our company,” confirms Gabor Bencses, CEO of JG-Max.
