Logset´s hybrid harvester chosen as Forest Machine of the Year

The medium-sized Logset 8H GTE Hybrid harvester, launched by Logset in spring 2019, got a well-earned acknowledgement at the Libramont exhibition, held on the French-Belgian border in July 2019. The French forestry magazine Bois International, together with a large committee, chose the Logset hybrid harvester as Forest Machine of the Year.

The choice was based on innovativeness and environmental aspects, such as fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The prize was received by Area Sales Manager Marc Mimeau and Chairman of the Board Tapio Nikkanen.

„A few years back, Logset decided to become the leader in environmentally friendly and efficient forest machines. The decision became the cornerstone of the company’s strategy. We’ve determinedly developed new solutions and have already launched two hybrid harvester models. The Forest Machine of the Year prize is a fine way of saying thank you to everyone at Logset, and encourages us to keep developing new products in line with our strategy”, Nikkanen said.
