BKT displays top-of-the-range tires for every segment at The Tire Cologne 2018

The Indian-based multinational group, a major global player in the Off-Highway tire market, exhibits at The Tire Cologne 2018 top-of-the-range tires for every segment. These advanced and high performing products are able to reply to the most differing application needs ensuring extraordinary resistance and durability.

In the spotlight is Earthmax SR 45 M, size 24.00 R 35, along with Agrimax V-FLECTO in the two versions VF 710/60 R 42 NRO and VF 600/60 R 30 NRO. These tires fitted on a crystal-clear dumper made of Plexiglas as a first for the public and the already known tractor in Plexiglas, respectively – two real crowd-pullers at the BKT stand. Specifically designed for rigid dumpers is Earthmax SR 45 M, a winning mix of features providing excellent traction and resistance even for long-haul transport. A feast for the eyes is Agrimax V-FLECTO, the perfect response to latest-generation tractors in modern farming. Reduced soil compaction, less operating costs, double usage in the fields and on the road without the need for inflation pressure changes, and increased load capacity – to name but a few of the great advantages this tire provides in terms of both performance and reliability.

To represent the agricultural tire lineup, first of all, there is BKT’s masterpiece Agrimax FORCE, exhibited in size IF 900/60 R 42. Designed with BKT’s further developed IF technology, this radial tire provides high-power tractors with a wide footprint enabling a uniform load distribution along with reduced soil compaction at the same time. Still part of the Agrimax series is Agrimax TERIS, displayed in size 800/65 R 32, specifically engineered for high-power harvesters and spreaders. Excellent flotation properties along with exceptional traction and stability are the great plus of this radial tire ensuring best soil protection in addition to top harvesting performance supporting heavy loads.

For agro-industrial handling equipment such as backhoe loaders, compact loaders and telehandlers, instead, there is CON STAR to be viewed at the fair in size 400/70 – 24. This solution provides great lateral and vertical stability – an essential feature for lifting operations. Ample lugs to support heavy loads increase the contact patch on the surface. Noteworthy also its longer product life-cycle thanks to a special compound distinguishing itself by extraordinary resistance against cuts and all typical damages that might occur during these operations.

For the industrial sector, BKT presents Portmax PT 93, sized 280/75 R 22.5, for terminal tractors employed in heavy-duty operations at ports, container terminals as well as logistics and distribution centers. The special antistatic tread compound ensures excellent wear resistance even at critical conditions reducing replacement intervals and relative downtime to a minimum. Rounding off the picture is Airomax AM 27, exhibited in size 445/95 R 25, a crane tire for the construction sector that is suitable for applications both on road surfaces and the aggressive terrains at construction sites.
