BKT displays extensive tire range at Intermat 2018

It is particularly extensive, the BKT-branded portfolio exhibited at this year’s edition of Intermat with Portmax PT 93 debuting on a European stage. Also on display are the cutting-edge products out of the Earthmax lineup for the OTR segment as well as a selection of tires for industrial equipment. An impressive presence as a concrete response to the expected recovery with a positive growth rate in the European construction equipment market this year.

A top novelty at the BKT stand is Portmax PT 93, size 280/75 R 22.5, especially designed for tractors in heavy-duty operations within ports, container terminals as well as logistic centers and hubs, and industrial sites. The special antistatic tread compound stands for extraordinary resistance against wear even under the toughest operating conditions, limiting replacement intervals and related equipment downtime.

Belonging to the same Portmax product family, yet specifically designed for reach stackers operating in container handling applications in port environments, is Portmax PM 90, displayed in size 18.00 R 25. Multi-ply steel belts confer this radial All Steel tire extraordinary strength, resistance and durability making it perfect for heavy lifting operations requiring a high level of stability.

Liftmax LM 81, sized 7.00 R 12, a specific forklift tire is also on display at Intermat. Its distinguishing marks are great comfort and durability, favoring the reduction of operating costs even over long distances. Its fellow Airomax AM 27, displayed in size 445/95 R 25, is a mainly road-oriented tire that is ideal for crane applications in the construction sector being it particularly suitable for aggressive terrains at construction sites.

Ideal for OTR environments are three selected tires representing the Earthmax lineup – having an extraordinarily resistant All Steel structure as distinguishing common feature. Displayed to the public in size 26.5 R 25 is Earthmax SR 53, a special tire for loaders and dozers operating on rocky terrain along with Earthmax SR 31, designed for rigid dumpers and wheeled loaders, which is exhibited at Intermat in size 26.5 R 25. Last but not least, there is Earthmax SR 50, size 26.5 R 25, another loader tire specifically engineered for demanding loading or leveling operations.
