The Maeda MC285C is one of the most versatile and popular machines in this range of machines with lifting capacities of 0.995t to 8t. New features to the MC285C-3 model include slew limit setting, new 7” display, HBC radio remote control and detachable electric motor.

The multi-position outrigger system is controlled by moment limiter to make this crane more versatile. Operators can set the outriggers in different positions and still lift a load according to the maximum rated total load between outriggers that are fully extended. The Yanmar diesel engine meets requirements for the new gas emission standards of EU Stage V which is valid from January 2019.

Standard features include programmable moment limiter, crane and outrigger interlock device, multi-position outrigger system, powerful winch with hydraulic disc brake, hydrostatic transmission, data logger, 4/2 fall hook block, tilt alarm and fully automatic 5-section pentagonal boom.

At 750mm wide the crane is slim enough to fit through a standard doorway allowing access to areas previously inaccessible to larger cranes. Customers will also be able to take the crane with the option of an 850kg searcher hook and auxiliary winch with 900kg capacity.
