The new 4.9 ton Maeda CC985 crawler crane

The latest addition to the Maeda range of cranes is the 5 ton CC985S-1 level crawler crane. This all new machine for 2017 enables Maeda to continue to improve and expand their offerings for their customers.

The CC985 model boasts many market-leading features including a 5 ton lifting capacity, 16.5m boom, rear view camera and 7″ multi monitor as standard. No outriggers mean an extremely slim working footprint.
In addition this environmentally-friendly machine is equipped with an EU Stage 3B/4B compliant engine making it up to 40% more fuel efficient.

The Fly Jib attachment is more user-friendly and easier to operate and increases lifting height to 20.2m. There is also an impressive 2 ton pick and carry duty.
Features of this more compact model include fully enclosed air-conditioned cab with link slide door, minimal tail swing, powerful two speed hi/lo winch, hydrostatic transmission, 4/2 fall hook block, tilt sensor/alarm, hydraulic disc brake and automatic pentagonal 5-section boom.

CC985S-1 is replacing the previous popular model LC785M-8. This new model has already been sold in the Japanese domestic market since 2016, and became one of the best selling model. This unit will be exhibited at the APEX exhibition on 2-4 May, 2017 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The latest addition to the mini spider crane series, and Maeda’s biggest model, MC815C was released in March 2017. The first three units were shipped out to Europe and one will be exhibited at the APEX 2017 exhibition. The MC815C has crane capacity of 8.09t x 2.4m with Max. working radius 18.8m and Max. lifting height 19.6m. Optional hydraulic fly jib and searcher hook are available.
