Wacker Neuson Group extends its zero-emission range at Intermat 2018

At Intermat 2018, Wacker Neuson Group will exhibit new products from the Wacker Neuson and Kramer brands. With the battery-powered and thus entirely emission-free vibratory plate AP1850e, Wacker Neuson is presenting a highlight at Intermat and expanding its zero-emission range for the operator and environmentally friendly work. With the 8155 model, Kramer presents a new all-wheel steered wheel loader in the 9-ton class.

With the single direction vibratory plate AP1850e, Wacker Neuson displays true innovation. It is the only battery-powered plate on the market and will go on sale following Intermat. With a running time of up to one hour, it can be used for the best part of a workday on almost any building site. The modular concept is of particular interest: the battery and the charger used are the same modules as used in Wacker Neuson’s battery rammer. This increases flexibility and, above all, economic efficiency as customers are able to use the battery in one of the devices whilst charging the other, if necessary. The vibratory plate AP1850e is particularly suitable for the compaction of both granular and asphalt surfaces.

Alongside the new plate, the zero-emission range includes two battery rammer models, the dual power excavator, an electric-operated track dumper and two electric wheel loaders, one from Wacker Neuson and one from Kramer.

As a particular highlight, Kramer will be presenting its latest wheel loader 8155 model at the trade fair, its first all-wheel steered model in the 9 ton class. Examples from Wacker Neuson’s comprehensive excavator portfolio ranging from 800 kg to 15 tons will also be on show, including two new models in the 3.5 ton class, which stand out for their innovative operating concept, performance efficiency and high economic efficiency. The area of compaction technology will be represented by various rammers, vibratory plates and roller models.
