AUSA surprised attendees with its latest innovations at Intermat 2018

Intermat 2018 ended on a high note and it is now time to reflect on the intense days spent at the trade fair in Paris. One of the main surprises at the event was AUSA, the global manufacturer of compact, all-terrain industrial vehicles for loading and moving materials, whose latest products captured the most attention from attendees.

D601AHG: innovation
Technology, safety and unstoppable: the three concepts that define the new AUSA dumper, which has already set the benchmark for the company’s future designs. The new D601AHG is the first dumper on the market with hydrostatic transmission and limited-slip differential on both axles, giving it unbeatable all-terrain traction. It incorporates three automatic operating modes: the ECO Mode, which automatically regulates the engine’s revolutions for greater efficiency and lower consumption; Start&Stop, which switches the engine off when it is not in use; and the Transport Mode, which increases the engine’s power for greater speed during journeys. It also incorporates a digital display on the dashboard that provides the driver with all of the machine’s information: fluid level indicators, engine diagnosis, revolutions, speed, lights, etc. Other key points are the new design, which significantly improves the ease of maintenance and driver visibility, as well as the incorporation of a front camera as standard, providing greater safety for the driver and its surrounding area.

D100AHA electric: the surprise
It is the first electric dumper of the sector with a driver’s cab. As a brand that opts for new technologies and is aware of the needs of its users, AUSA has presented a prototype of the most compact dumper in its catalogue, with an electrical power unit that delivers 13 kW and a capacity of 6 hours at maximum power, which would easily cover a full working day, considering the use of these machines. With an external transformer, it can be connected directly to the mains (220 V), completing the charging process in just 5 hours. Just like the brand’s base model, its loading capacity is 1 ton, with tipping at a height and hydrostatic transmission. Without a doubt, a commitment to the future that all users see as positive.

Full Visibility System: total visibility for the operator
Incorporated in the new D450AHG dumper, with a loading capacity of 4.5 tons and hydrostatic transmission, which was launched in the first quarter of 2018, AUSA has revealed its Full Visibility System to the masses, a safety system that includes two night vision cameras and eight proximity sensors. It is technology taken directly from the automotive sector, whereby the TFT screen in the driver’s cab provides the operator with total vision of their surroundings, allowing them to be constantly aware of elements in front and to the rear of the vehicle that are lost in their direct field of vision.

T144H: the ultracompact telehandler
On a traditional trailer. That is how AUSA showed that it had the most compact telescopic handler on the market, with a loading capacity of 1350 kg and up to 4 metres of maximum height. In addition, thanks to the side position of its telescopic arm, it has the widest and most comfortable driver’s cab of the sector, and with its very advanced driver’s cab design, it provides the operator with unbeatable visibility.
Completing its stand, AUSA also presented the models from its catalogue that are already known, such as the T204H compact telescopic handler, with a loading capacity of 2000 kg and up to 4.2 metres of height, the renowned C250H and C500 forklifts, with loading capacities of 2.5 and 5 tons respectively, and the BD202HL mechanical sweeper, with a capacity of 1.2 m3.
